Working in partnership for a sustainable future
CABI was established by a United Nations treaty-level agreement and, today, is owned by 50 Member Countries who each have an equal role in our governance, policies and strategic direction.
We value the partnership of our Member Countries and the international network that represents over two thirds of the world’s population.
CABI membership
Membership of CABI enables national governments to play an active role in directing and influencing the global development agenda through our work and our network of partners.
Our members set our strategic direction which means that our work in development, research and scientific publishing helps Member Countries to tackle their problems in agriculture and the environment whilst addressing global issues of concern such as food security and climate change.
